The Grover Pro Percussion “Open Tone” temple blocks are hand-crafted in the USA using high quality Baltic birch. They mindfully chose Baltic birch for its great strength, durability, and resonant sound characteristics. Each block is not only graduated in size, but tuned so that each set is tonally matched for optimum sonority. These blocks have a full, focused sound. The quality is very consistent, creating a set of temple blocks that is truly a benchmark of craftsmanship.

Every set of temple blocks includes a robust “quick release” multi-clamp that will allow you to securely mount your Grover Pro temple blocks on any vertical type of stand, such as a cymbal stand or concert tom stand. Machined from aircraft grade aluminum, our mounting clamp is the strongest on the market, bar none.

Grover Pro is the only company offering eight graduated temple block sizes. This “standard” five-block set is perfect for most applications and consists of five graduated sizes.

The Ron Vaughn No.7 Woodblock is an extra large woodblock. It is low pitched with the fundamental tone being Db. Made in USA of top quality imported African Mahogany, the No. 7 block is used in Concert Performance as well as World Music. Ron Vaughn Percussion is "always getting better." Their woodblocks are no exception. Made in USA, these hand made blocks are the original single slot blocks which have become so popular. The No.5 woodblock is made of imported African Mahogany and has tremendous resonance. Approximate pitch is F and the length a little over 10 5/8."
