The A Zildjian Splashes are generally high pitched, bright sounding crashes. They have a small bell and because they are paper thin, a very short sustain. These are effect cymbals used in the proper way, very musical. Most popular sizes are the 8" and 10".

These splashes have a very musical sound. They are not a loud volume cymbal. The A Custom Splash is medium to high pitch, bright with short sustain. They come in a brilliant finish. They are paper thin.

The paper thin weight of these splashes create a clean, clear articulate sounding splash cymbal. They are surprisingly bright sounding and not advised for loud projection. They are a low volume splash and best used for soft acoustic and studio playing. The 10" is the most popular model.

Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Splash

Zildjian K Hybrid Splash

The K Hybrid Splash is unique in that the outer half of the cymbal is a traditional finish and the inner half is brilliant. It is low to medium pitch and has a dark sound quality. Warm, with short sustain it is for general volume performance. The cymbals are made in odd sizes: 9" and 11".
