This Mapex MPX Hammered Steel Snare 14″ x 6.5″ is a bright snare drum with dry overtones. Because of the hammering, the drum is very versatile. Primarily used for Fusion Jazz and more Progressive Rock styles. It will cut through electronics and with proper tuning will produce crisp highs to fat lows.
